About This Property
Welcome to The Woodstock Bungalow, a thoughtfully updated home located just a 10-minute walk from Woodstock Village. With comfortable gathering spaces, four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a private stone patio, the home is well suited for families, couples, or a small group visiting Woodstock throughout the year.
Please note: This home does not have central air conditioning. The master bedroom has an AC unit, and an additional AC unit can be provided upon request.
Living Space
The main living room is warm and comfortable, with a large sectional sofa, additional leather seating, a wall-mounted TV, and plenty of space for everyone to relax together. Large windows bring in natural light, while the wood floors and vintage-inspired furnishings give the room a relaxed, residential feel.
Kitchen
The renovated kitchen features deep green cabinetry, stone countertops, stainless-steel appliances, a gas range, and ample space for preparing meals. It is fully set up for everyday cooking, whether you are making breakfast before heading into town or settling in for dinner at home.

- One bedroom with a queen bed (Main floor)

Each room has its own character, with comfortable bedding, natural light, wood furnishings, and simple, thoughtful décor.
Bathrooms
There are two full bathrooms.
The larger bathroom features a spacious glass-enclosed walk-in shower with dual showerheads. (Upstairs)
The second bathroom includes a tub-and-shower combination, built-in storage, and a window overlooking the surrounding greenery.
Outdoor Space
Outside, the private stone patio offers a dining table with seating for six. It is a peaceful place for morning coffee, outdoor meals, or an evening drink, with views across the lawn toward a classic red Vermont barn and the surrounding hills.

Mount Peg mountain biking
About 15 miles of free, WAMBA-built singletrack accessible right from the village, ranked among the best trail networks in Vermont. Open June 1 to October 31. Trailhead at Knox Meadow; rentals at the Woodstock Inn Activity Center.

WAMBA's Aqueduct trails in West Woodstock are friendlier for beginners and have a pump track. The Saskadena Six bike park in Pomfret is a short drive. Note: bikes are not allowed on Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller park trails.

Market on the Green, Wednesdays 3–6 pm on the Village Green (walkable). Mt. Tom Farmers Market, Saturdays 9:30–12:30 at Saskadena Six. The Norwich Farmers' Market on Saturdays is one of the region's largest.

A working Jersey dairy farm with a Dairy Bar for ice cream, and 20 miles of carriage roads and trails next door. Hike Mount Tom for the view over town.

Killington via the Skyeship Gondola
Skip the Access Road. Park at the Skyeship base right on Route 4, about 25 minutes west of the house, and ride the gondola up. Ski Peak to Creek, 4.5 miles from the summit back to your car.

- Farmer and the Bell – Fresh donuts, focaccia and maple creemees. Open Wednesday–Sunday, 8–3. Go early; donuts sell out.
- Abracadabra Coffee – Newly opened in Woodstock Village.
🍽️ Restaurants
- Santé – Small plates, house-made pasta and entrées from the owner's own farm, plus handcrafted cocktails. Dinner Tuesday–Saturday, lunch Thursday–Saturday, closed Sunday and Monday. Reserve on Resy. They close early, but they'll seat you right up until closing if you book a late table.
- Red Rooster at the Woodstock Inn – Farm-to-table dining, open daily. Dinner reservations are required (Resy). The bar menu runs 3–9 pm if you can't get a table.
- Worthy Kitchen – Vermont's favorite spot for burgers, craft beer, and comfort food. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Reservations are suggested on weekends. Great with kids.
🍸 Cocktails
- Au Comptoir – Craft cocktails, wine, and small plates in an intimate setting, with outdoor fire pits in winter. It's down the alley off Mechanic Street. Closed Tuesdays.
🚗 Worth the Short Drive
- Oakes & Evelyn at The Jackson – Fine dining with mountain views just outside the village (43 Senior Lane). Dinner Tuesday–Saturday; reserve ahead.
- Simon Pearce, Quechee – Lunch or dinner overlooking the waterfall and covered bridge, with glassblowing to watch downstairs. Reservations suggested.
- Cloudland Farm, Woodstock – A farm-to-table prix fixe dinner on a working farm, Thursday–Saturday. Book well ahead.
- Fable Farm, Barnard – Natural wine, cider and farm food, with Thursday-evening suppers and live music in season.
- Long Trail Brewing, Bridgewater Corners – A brewery pub on the river, right on Route 4. An easy stop on the way back from Killington.
